Date Nut Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 c. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. finely chopped dates
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, egg, dates, milk and nuts.
    Put into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix brown sugar, water and butter; pour over batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden crust, 45 minutes to 1 hour.
