Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, cut up
3 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef consomme
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano leaves, crushed
Preparation

Brown beef in 4 or 5-quart pan; drain off fat.
Add rest of ingredients.
Bring to boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
