Butter Dipped Bread Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in a cookie sheet in 450\u00b0 oven.
    Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
    Add milk and blend with a fork.
    Batter will be stiff.
    Turn onto well-floured cloth and knead a few times. Roll or pat dough to about 1/2-inch thick and cut into strips with a flour dipped table knife.
    Dip in melted butter, coating both sides.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Serves 5 or 6.
