Clay Pot Mezetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. celery, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 to 3 tsp. chili powder
    seasoning to taste
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup
    1 (10 oz.) can mushroom soup
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained
    1 c. water
    3/4 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Soak clay cooking pot and lid in warm water for 15 minutes. Place ground beef, green pepper, onion, celery and garlic in pot. Cover with water-soaked lid.
    Cook on High in microwave for 6 minutes.
    Drain off excess liquid.
    Sprinkle noodles on meat mixture.
    Stir together in a bowl the chili powder, paprika, salt, tomato soup, mushroom soup, mushrooms and water.
    Pour mixture over meat and noodles.
    Re-cover and microwave on High for 10 minutes, then on 50% power for 15 to 18 minutes or until noodles are cooked.
    Sprinkle cheese on top and cover.
    Let stand for 5 minutes.
