Monte Christos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 slices bread for each sandwich serving
    1 slice ham
    1 slice Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Prepare mixture of milk, eggs, pepper and salt (for dipping bread).
    Heat griddle.
    Dip and cook all bread (French bread style and on one side only).
    Turn bread over, placing ham and cheese slices on cooked side.
    Add second slice (placing cooked side down against ham and cheese).
    Finish cooking, turning sandwich over to cook on both sides.
    When done, garnish with powdered sugar. Serve sandwiches hot.
