Beef Guisado - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. beef for stew, cut into thin strips
    1/2 medium cabbage, cut into strips
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 bell pepper, chopped
    4 Tbsp. oil
    2 tomatoes, cut into small pieces
    1/2 c. water
    salt, pepper and Accent (as desired)
Preparation
    Heat deep frypan and
    add oil.
    Add meat and brown well. Sprinkle with garlic, if desired.
    Add onion, cabbage and bell pepper. Stir.
    Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, Accent and water.
    Stir well. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes.
    Serve over rice or potatoes.
    You may add soy sauce if desired.
