Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            1 round steak, cut in strips
 
1 c. flour
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 medium onion
1 large can tomatoes
1 green pepper
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- 
                            In skillet, add shortening.
 
Skillet must be hot.
Flour steak strips.
Brown on both sides, 1 to 2 minutes.
In a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan, add other ingredients. Cover and bake 3 hours at 300\u00b0. Stir often.
