Very Moist Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    3 tsp. coconut flavoring
    1 (7 oz.) can coconut
Preparation
    Cream sugar, eggs and shortening for 10 minutes.
    Add flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
    Mix well and add coconut flavoring and coconut.
    Put into greased and floured tube pan.
    Place in cold oven.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
