Sour Cream Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef stew
    1/2 lb. bacon
    5 medium onions
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    1 clove garlic
    3/4 c. white cooking wine
    2 c. sour cream
    8 potatoes
    8 carrots
Preparation
    Brown bacon.
    Add onions, then brown the beef.
    Add salt, pepper, garlic and white wine.
    Bring to a boil; simmer 3/4 hour (45 minutes).
    Add sour cream; simmer for 15 minutes.
    Add vegetables; cook 50 to 60 minutes.
