Never-Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
5 Tbsp. water
1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Combine flour and salt in a large bowl.
Cut in shortening. Combine egg, water and vinegar.
Mix well.
Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients.
Mix until the flour is moistened and dough is easy to handle.
Divide into 3 parts.
Roll out one part at a time on a floured board.
Dough may be covered and refrigerated for up to a week.
Dough may also be frozen. Yields pastry for 3 (9-inch) pies.
