Apple Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. oil
    2 tsp. soda
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    4 c. chopped apple
    Lemon Cheese Icing
Preparation
    Beat together the eggs, sugar and vanilla.
    Beat in the oil until smooth.
    Sift together the flour, soda, cinnamon and salt. Stir
    dry
    ingredients
    into egg mixture.
    Add nuts and apple
    and mix
    well.
    Turn
    into
    a greased and floured 11 x 7-inch pan and
    bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cool cake in pan or on a rack and spread smoothly with icing.
