Cornbread Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1/4 c. margarine
4 c. dry bread, cubed (6 slices)
4 c. cornbread, crumbled
2 1/2 c. canned or fresh chicken broth
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. sage
1 tsp. poultry seasoning (or Tony's)
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Saute onion and celery in margarine until softened.
Mix bread cubes and crumbled cornbread in a large bowl.
Add beaten egg and chicken broth.
Stir in onion, celery and margarine.
Add sage, seasoning, salt and pepper.
Mix well. Spread dressing in pan.
Bake 45 to 60 minutes.
