Ingredients

1 can coconut flakes
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. buttermilk
3/4 stick butter or margarine
Preparation

Beat eggs slightly.
Add sugar, melted butter, buttermilk and vanilla; mix well and stir in coconut flakes.
Pour into unbaked pie shell; bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Lower heat to 300\u00b0 and bake until golden brown.
