Chess Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 box light brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    4 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    nuts to taste
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Over low heat, melt the butter and brown sugar.
    Add all remaining ingredients except powdered sugar. Place in a greased and floured 13 x 9 pan and bake at 300\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Cut into squares and roll in powdered sugar.
