Funnel Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
3/4 c. milk
1 1/4 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
oil (for frying)
Preparation

In medium bowl, beat eggs with milk.
Add dry ingredients. Using a funnel with 3/8-inch spout, hold finger over the spout and pour some of the batter into funnel.
Hold funnel over hot oil in frying pan or fryer.
Release batter in circular or crisscross pattern.
Batter should dry rapidly.
If too thick, add 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons milk.
Fry about 1 minute; turn and fry 1/2 minute.
Drain on paper towels.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar or sugar and cinnamon.
