Mincemeat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 lb. beef, cooked until nearly dry, chopped fine
    4 lb. raisins
    5 to 6 apples
    2 oz. cinnamon
    1/4 oz. ginger
    1/3 oz. cloves
    1 oz. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    3 lb. brown sugar
    1 qt. boiled cider or grape juice
    1 qt. molasses
Preparation
    Bring this
    all
    to a boil, stirring often to keep from scorching.\tFill jars and seal (cold packing 3 hours).
