Cheese And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. mushroom stems/pieces
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped, blanched almonds
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
    1/2 c. shredded cheese
    1 3/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. meat extract
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Drain
    mushrooms;
    reserve liquid.
    Lightly brown mushrooms, onions
    and
    almonds
    in butter.
    Add rice, parsley and cheese; mix
    well.
    Place
    mixture in dish; add salt and meat extract mixed
    with
    water and mushroom liquid by pouring over rice. Cover and bake in 375\u00b0 oven 1 hour.
