Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 to 6 potatoes
1 large onion, chopped
1 qt. milk
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
salt and pepper
Preparation

Peel and dice potatoes.
Cook in enough water to cover.
Saute large chopped onion in butter or bacon drippings.
Add milk to cooked potatoes, sauteed onion, salt and pepper.
Butter to taste. May be thickened with cold water and cornstarch blended together. Top with bacon crumbs, if desired, before stirring.
