Carameled Lima Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lima beans
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 lb. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. white vinegar
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Cover lima beans with water; cook until done.
    Season with salt.
    Brown 1 1/2 cups sugar in heavy skillet.
    Very slowly, stirring with wooden spoon continuously, add butter.
    Blend in flour; add bean juice.
    If not enough, add water.
    Mix in 3 tablespoons vinegar.
    Add beans, a little at a time.
