Popcorn - Poppy Cock - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. unpopped popcorn
    1 lb. mixed nuts
    1 lb. butter
    1 c. corn syrup
    2 2/3 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Pop popcorn; set aside.
    Stir butter, corn syrup and brown sugar over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Do not stir while cooking.
    Cook to soft ball stage (244\u00b0).
    Pour over popped corn and mixed nuts.
    Spread on wax paper to dry.
    Store in container with a lid.
    Keeps well.
    Can be frozen.
