Ouzo Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped nuts
1 (3 3/4 oz.) instant lemon pudding mix
1/4 c. ouzo
1 (18 1/2 oz.) box lemon cake mix
4 eggs
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. cooking oil
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan. Sprinkle nuts evenly over bottom of pan.
Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, oil and ouzo.
Beat 3 minutes.
Pour batter over nuts in tube pan; bake 1 hour.
Place on rack; cool 30 minutes. Invert on serving plate.
Prick with skewer and pour on syrup.
Let stand at least 30 minutes.
Serves 12.
