Ingredients

2 c. oatmeal
2 c. Rice Krispies
2 c. flour
1 c. coconut (optional)
1 c. nuts, chopped
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
Preparation

Cream together the shortening and sugars.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Then add the rest of the ingredients, mixing well.
Shape into small balls and bake on a greased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
