Peachy Bran Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can sliced peaches
    1/2 c. honey
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. bran
    1 egg
    1 c. unbleached flour (plain)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Drain peaches.
    Reserve syrup.
    Combine bran and 1/2 cup peach syrup.
    Let stand.
    Add egg, honey and margarine.
    Beat well.
    In another bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
    Add dry ingredients to other mixture.
    Pour batter into oiled 9-inch square pan.
    Make grooves diagonally in batter with floured spoon.
    Place peaches in grooves.
    Sprinkle remaining cinnamon and sugar on top.
    Bake 30 minutes at 400\u00b0.
