Kid'S Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add egg and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
Form into balls.
Place on cookie sheet.
Dip pretty bottomed glass into water and press cookies down.
Sprinkle half with sugar and other half with cinnamon sugar combination.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown.
