Apple Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. soft butter
3 large apples (unpeeled)
1 c. sour cream
1 egg
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Combine cake mix and butter; mix until crumbly.
Reserve 2/3 cup for topping.
Press remaining cake mixture into 13 x 9-inch pan.
Arrange apple slices over mixture.
Blend sour cream and egg together; spread over apples.
