10 oz. pkg. almonds
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1 c. butter
1 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation

Whirl almonds in blender.
Mix flour, sugar and ground almonds.
With fingers, work in butter and vanilla until mixture cleans bowl.
Chill dough at least 1 hour.
Roll dough into balls (approximately 1 1/4-inch), then into rolls (3 1/2-inch).
Form into crescent shapes.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes until lightly brown.
Cool on pan about 10 minutes.
While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
Makes 25 to 30.
