Plum Pudding Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. white sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. white wine
Preparation
    Cream butter, egg and sugar.
    Add wine and cook in double boiler until thick.
    Store in jar and can be reheated, if you like the sauce warm. Can be served with fruitcake, applesauce cake or whatever you prefer to serve on.
