Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. cucumbers, sliced
    4 or 5 onions, diced
    4 c. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    1 1/3 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Bring to a boil and pour over cucumbers and onions in jars. Let cool.
    Put in refrigerator.
