Icebox Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 lb. vanilla wafers
    1 Tbsp. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add well beaten egg and mix.
    Add evaporated milk.
    Drain crushed pineapple and add to mixture (leave a little juice).
    Add pecans.
    Roll vanilla wafers. Sprinkle a layer of crumbs in a loaf pan.
    Add alternately, the pineapple and crumbs.
    Chill in refrigerator for several hours so it will slice easily.
