Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 small can Carnation milk
    14 oz. caramels
    1 1/2 c. nuts
    1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix cake
    as
    directed.
    Spread
    half the batter into a greased 13 x
    9-inch
    pan.
    Bake
    10
    or
    15 minutes, or until done.
    Meanwhile, melt the caramels in the milk.
    When cake is done, pour
    the
    caramel mixture over it.
    Sprinkle the chocolate chips
    and nuts over the caramel.
    Add the remaining cake batter and return to oven until done.
