Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. fresh broccoli, chopped
1/2 c. onion, chopped
3 c. water
6 chicken flavored bouillon cubes
1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. margarine or butter
1/4 c. unsifted flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. (1 pt.) light cream or milk
Preparation

In large saucepan combine chopped broccoli, onion, water, bouillon cubes, thyme and garlic.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer covered 15 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
In blender or food processor container, using 1/3 broccoli mixture at a time blend until smooth.
Return to saucepan and set aside.
