Cherry Jubilee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 angel food cake
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1/2+ box powdered sugar
    1 large container Cool Whip
    12 oz. cream cheese
Preparation
    Warm cream cheese to room temperature.
    Mash with fork on a plate until soft.
    Add sugar.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    (Does not have to be smooth.)
    Cut cake into 3 horizontal layers.
    Ice each layer completely with cream cheese mixture.
    Put pie filling between layers.
    Refrigerate.
