Play Dough(Welcome School'S) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. salt
1 c. flour
2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
1 Tbsp. oil
1 c. water

Preparation

Mix in a saucepan the salt, flour and cream of tartar.
Mix in oil and water.
Cook slowly over very low heat, stirring until thick.
Food coloring may be added with liquids or kneaded in after cooking.
Keeps well in tightly covered container.
