Bill'S Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. fettuccine or linguine pasta
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 1/2 c. evaporated skim milk
    2/3 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. sliced green onion
    4 Tbsp. snipped fresh basil or 1 tsp. dried, crushed basil
    1/2 tsp. finely shredded lemon peel
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook pasta according to package directions.
    Drain; immediately return to pan.
    Add olive oil; toss to coat.
    Add milk, Parmesan cheese, onion, basil, lemon, garlic powder and pepper.
    Cook over medium heat until bubbly, stirring constantly. Season.
    Top with additional Parmesan cheese, basil and lemon slices.
