Chocolate Covered Cherries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) jars maraschino cherries with stems
    1/4 c. butter, softened
    1 Tbsp. cherry flavored liqueur
    1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 1/2 lb. milk chocolate
Preparation
    Drain cherries.
    Let dry on paper towels overnight.
    In a small bowl, combine butter, liqueur and corn syrup.
    Stir in confectioners sugar; knead until smooth.
    Cover.
    Form a heaping 1/2 teaspoonful around each cherry.
    Place on waxed paper covered cookie sheet; refrigerate.
