Ingredients

1 (10 oz.) can tomato puree
1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. light brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. white bread cubes
1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation

Add boiling water to puree with salt and sugar.
Boil for 5 minutes.
Cut bread into 1-inch cubes.
Place bread cubes in a 1-quart casserole and pour butter over bread cubes.
Add tomato mixture and bake, covered, at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
