Pecan Pie Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    3/4 c. oleo
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Karo syrup
    2 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients on low speed.
    Pat down in greased jelly roll pan.
    Bake for 20 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Mix the beaten eggs, 1 1/2 cups sugar and Karo syrup real well, then fold in pecans.
    Pour over hot crust.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until set, at 350\u00b0.
