"Mom'S" 1944 Old English Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco (not oil)
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    2 c. self-rising flour, sifted
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco.
    Add eggs, one at a time, then flour and vanilla.
    Pour into greased tube pan and bake 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
