Fisherman'S Wharf Swordfish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. swordfish
4 Tbsp. olive oil
2 small onions, slivered
2 small cloves garlic, minced
2 tomatoes, seeded and chopped or 4 plum tomatoes, chopped
2 green peppers, seeded and sliced
1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
1/4 c. water, broth or wine
Preparation

Cut the fish into 4 serving pieces, each about 6 ounces.
In a heavy large skillet saute the onion and garlic in the oil until softened but not browned.
Stir in the tomatoes, green peppers, salt, pepper and water, broth or wine.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.
Add the swordfish. Cover.
Cook over simmering heat for 8 to 10 minutes until cooked. Serve fish, spooned with vegetables and juice.
