Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 or 9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    6 medium to large onions, halved and sliced
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    6 eggs, beaten
    1 c. milk (I use 2% for a lighter mustard)
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Gently saute the onions in the butter until they are limp. Line the bottom of the pie shell with the cooked onions.
    Whip together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper and pour over the onions. Bake 45 to 55 minutes at 350\u00b0.
