Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites
10 drops of mint extract
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Boil sugar and water until it threads.
Pour onto stiffly beaten egg whites and beat with cream of tartar until stiff enough to drop from a spoon.
Add mint.
Use 2 teaspoons together and drop onto buttered marble slab or dish.
