Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chopped apples
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, separated
    1 c. cooking oil
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Pour sugar over apples and let stand.
    In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff.
    Add egg yolks and stir.
    Add cooking oil to the egg mixture; beat well and let stand.
    In another bowl, mix together pecans, flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Pour egg mixture over apples, then add dry ingredients.
    Stir with a spoon.
    Pour in a greased tube pan or Bundt pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
