Barbara'S Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cans French-style green beans, drained
1 small chopped onion
5 Tbsp. sugar
5 Tbsp. vinegar
5 Tbsp. bacon drippings (from 8 to 10 slices bacon you have cooked until crispy)
Preparation

Layer 1 can beans, 1/2 onion, 1 can beans and remainder of onion. Heat until sugar is dissolved the sugar, vinegar and bacon drippings. Pour heated mixture over beans and onion which you have layered in Pyrex casserole. Crumble bacon over top and cover with aluminum foil. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes. Remove foil and continue to bake 15 minutes longer.
