Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow squash, sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
    2 carrots, grated
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
Preparation
    Cook squash in small amount of water until tender.
    Drain well and mash.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Combine soup, carrots, onion, sour cream and butter, blending well.
    Add squash, stirring gently.
    Alternate layers of squash, mixture and bread crumbs in greased 2-quart casserole dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
