Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 -1/2 c. milk, scalded
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Blend eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla. Gradually, stir in scalded milk. Pour into 9 inch unbaked pit crust. Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg or cinnamon. Bake in preheated oven, 400\u00b0F for 25 to 30 minutes, or until knife inserted half-way between outside and center comes out clean. Cool 15 to 30 minutes then refrigerate.
