Bicycle Bar - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces or use peanut butter pieces
    2 Tbsp. peanut butter
    3/4 c. Kretschner wheat germ
    3/4 c. quick oats, uncooked
    1/2 c. snipped, pitted dates
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and peanut butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
    Add all remaining ingredients, mixing well.
    Shape quickly with buttered hands into 8 bars, about 3-inches long.
    Wrap end bar in plastic wrap and refrigerate
    until firm.
    Makes 8 bars.
