Ron'S Baked Bean - Crock Pot Method - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. small White Beans
1/4 lb. Salt Pork
1/4 c. Brown Sugar
1/3 c. Molasses
1 medium Onion
1 tsp. Dry Mustard
Salt & Pepper to taste
Preparation

Pick over Beans, rinse and soak overnight in cold water.
Place sliced Onion on bottom of crock pot.
Trim skin off Salt Pork and excess fat (I leave about 1/2 the fat on with meat).
Rinse beans, pick through one last time and place in crock pot.
Add Molasses, Brown Sugar, Salt Pork, Mustard, Salt and Pepper.
Add water to completely cover ingredients, cover and place crock pot on high for first 5 - 6 hours, place on low for final 2 - 3 hours.
Serve with Hamburg patties, Hot Dogs and Brown Bread.
