Seafood Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. okra, sliced
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. butter, melted and divided
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 bunch green onions, sliced
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    2 cloves garlic
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained)
    1 lb. unpeeled medium shrimp
    hot, cooked rice
    1 bay leaf
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    1 sprig fresh thyme
    1/2 to 1 tsp. red pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 qt. water
    1/2 lb. fresh crabmeat
Preparation
    Saute okra in 2 tablespoons butter until lightly browned.
    Set aside.
    Combine remaining 1/4 cup butter and flour in large skillet; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until brown colored (20 to 25).
    Stir in green onions, celery and garlic; cook until vegetables are tender.
    Combine okra, tomatoes and next 6 ingredients into large Dutch oven.
    Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 2 hours, stirring once.
