Apple Coffeecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 apples, pared and sliced (3 c.)
    5 Tbsp. plus 2 c. sugar (divided use)
    5 Tbsp. cinnamon
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. salad oil
    4 eggs
    1/4 c. orange juice
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine the 5 tablespoons of sugar with the cinnamon.
    Put the apples into the mix.
    Sift the flour, remaining sugar (2 cups), baking powder and salt into a bowl.
    Make a well in the center and pour in the oil, eggs, orange juice and vanilla.
    Beat with a wooden spoon until well blended.
    Pour in one-third of the batter; ring with one-half of the apples, then one-third of the batter, then apples and top with remaining batter.
    Bake for one and one-quarter hours at 375\u00b0.
    Cool in the pan.
