Quick Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. water
    1 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. salt (heaping)
    1 stalk of dill
    1 garlic bud
    8 to 10 small cucumbers or 10 to 15 Kirby cukes
Preparation
    Boil together water, vinegar and salt.
    Remove from heat and let cool completely.
    Place 1/2 stalk of dill in bottom of a bean pot (cookie jar size) along with garlic bud.
    Add washed cucumbers.
    Pour cooled water over cucumbers (being sure that all cucumbers are covered).
    Add other half of dill stalk; cover. Keep covered for three days.
    After that, refrigerate.
